TORONTO - Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a Toronto man accused of first-degree murder.
Det.-Sgt. Gary Giroux said David Ludwig, 33, of Toronto, is considered armed and dangerous.

James Massey, 32, was found deceased around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. Massey died from a single gunshot wound to the stomach.

Giroux confirmed there was an argument between the victim and Ludwig, but could not comment on the exact nature of the disagreement.

"We do believe that the individual seen by neighbours who called 911 is this individual (Ludwig)," Giroux said.

Police have notified border guards of the Ludwig's warrant, but stated that they believe the suspect is still in Toronto.

Ludwig is described as a Caucasian male in his late 20s to early 30s, of medium build between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, and with visible facial hair. He was last seen wearing baggy blue jeans and a black sweatshirt.

Anyone who sees Ludwig is urged to call 911 immediately.
