Boy, 16, faces charges after modified rifle, shotgun found in home

WINNIPEG - A 16-year-old boy faces a number of weapons charges after police searched his house.
Police executed a search warrant for a residence in the 600-block of Polson Avenue.

They found a .22 calibre rifle and shotgun, both were modified. A magazine, ammo and a large knife were also found.

The 16 year old faces charges of breach of firearms regulations and possession of weapon for dangerous purpose as well as charges relating to a breach of probation.
