TORONTO -- An eight-year-old boy is dead and his 36-year-old mother is in critical condition after being struck by a car in a parking lot at the Ontario Science Centre.
The accident happened Saturday morning in a lot that was chained off to the public.
The boy was taken to Sick Kids where he later died and the mother was taken to Sunnybrook.
"We don't know a lot and I'm unaware of who the driver is," said traffic Sgt. Graeme Philipson.
