Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, will be touring Canada for seven days this month.

This will mark the first working visit to Canada by the Earl and Countess of Wessex in over a decade. Both are colonels-in-chief to a number of Canadian Forces' regiments.

From Sept. 11-18, the couple will visit Ottawa, Trenton, Toronto, Hamilton, St. Catharines and Midland in Ontario, then make an appearance in Iqaluit, Nunavut.

Prince Edward is Queen Elizabeth II's youngest son.
