Razor blade found in treat bag in London, police say

LONDON, ON -- City police are warning parents to be check their children’s candy after a double-sided razor blade was found in a trick-or-treat bag on Wednesday night.

The blade was wrapped in waxed paper, police said.

Police weren’t able to determine where the blade came from because the child visited several addresses.

There were no injuries, police said. They’re asking anyone with information to contact them at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
