Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism's television crew made a viral hit when they captured "two unlikely friends" while filming a TV commercial.

A video of a tiny goat riding on the back of a white horse against a picturesque backdrop has garnered tens of thousands of views online.

It's unclear whether the video was set up, but on its Facebook page, Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism claims it was just an adorable accident.

"While filming one of our TV commercials, the crew spotted these two unlikely friends near Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve. Which begs the question, what else would you expect in a place with its very own time zone?" reads the description.

Known as "The Cape," the ecological reserve where the two creatures were filmed is one of the province's major seabird colonies, 200 southwest of St. John's.
