Champ's sliced mushrooms have been recalled in British Columbia, Alberta and possibly other provinces due to listeria fears, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said Thursday.

The Aldergrove, BC, manufacturer Champ's Mushrooms is voluntarily recalling the white mushrooms.

Recalled mushrooms have been sold in 227 gram packages and were packed on Aug. 10 and 11.

The mushrooms were recalled in BC Monday but the alert was expanded to include other provinces.
No illnesses have been reported.
