TORONTO -- Maybe it depends what your definition of winning is.

Mayor Rob Ford proclaimed on his weekly Newstalk 1010 radio show on Sunday that he's the big winner in the City Hall football pool.

"I always end up kicking their butt," Ford said of city councillors John Filion, Joe Mihevc and Karen Stintz, who join him in the office NFL pool.

Turns out, Ford doesn't kick butt when it comes to football picks.

Filion countered Ford has yet to win a season of the City Hall football pool and loses regularly when weekend games are played.

"He did win -- by some fluke ... the first game this year, but he has traditionally lost almost every game for a full season at a time," Filion said Monday.

Filion typically comes out on top when it comes to the City Hall football pool.

Stintz won the NFL picks last week, while Filion or Mihevc were mathematically on track to win this past weekend.

"He totally fumbled that one, and I'll have to consider my options for getting a retraction," Filion said about Ford's on-air boast.

Mihevc crowed in January about sacking Ford at pigskin picks, and Ford admitted he was getting thumped.

"It's embarrassing ... I organize (the pool) and I take a bath," Ford said at the time.
