Against the advice of his staff, Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall is growing in a moustache, and folks have already forked over more than $2,000 to see his sweet crumb catcher in action.

The premier is participating in Movember, a charity campaign wherein people take donations to grow mustaches in November, to raise money for prostate cancer research.

"I wanted to grow a mo last year but my staff advised against it. They had seen pictures of me with a mo back in the day ... enough said," said Wall on his donation page, which features a picture of a young Wall with a full Miami Vice 'stache and a cowboy hat.

"This year, I hope you will help me ignore their advice and cruel comments. If I raise $3,000 before Nov. 1, I will grow the mo."

As of Saturday, he'd already raised more than $2,000.
