A Texas man found his runaway teenage daughter after he posted an emotional video to YouTube.

Haley Wilson, 17, ran away from her Amarillo, Texas, home on Boxing Day, leaving behind a note.

"It's because you care, and there's nothing going for me. I love you more than you know, you'll get my good bye. All my lovin'. I will send 2U. Don't look for me, dad," reads the note Ray Wilson held up to the camera in the video he uploaded to YouTube on Dec. 29.

The video has received nearly a million views since then and circulated social media sites with the hashtag #FindHaley.

Along with Haley's description, Wilson provided other details via handwritten notes he flashed to the camera.

"She's driving a 2003 Ford Focus station wagon silver."

He shows the cellphone she left behind and a map he found in her room noting two cities in California and one in Arizona.

On Tuesday, #FindHaley became #FoundHaley.

Ray Wilson tweeted late that morning: "Carlsbad, CA PD pulled over Haley and I talked to her and am flying out to San Diego -- Please RT & Repost! #FOUNDhaley."

And on Wednesday he posted an update: "Just got Haley!"
