SIMCOE, ON -- Annaleise Carr's fundraising campaign continues to gain momentum a week after her record-breaking swim across Lake Ontario.

As of Thursday, more than $136,000 had been raised for Camp Trillium, a retreat near Waterford, ON, that offers recreational activities for children affected by cancer.

Carr's original goal was to raise $30,000 for the camp that inspired her to complete the challenging 51.5 km swim across Lake Ontario Aug. 18 and 19.

At 14 years of age, she is the youngest person to cross the lake.
