Edmonton Oilers tough guy Ben Eager has been charged by police for fighting in a Toronto pub Saturday.

The 28-year-old left winger was charged with assault causing bodily harm, threatening bodily harm and assault with a weapon.

The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Ottawa native who played junior with the Oshawa Generals, and his brother were arrested the same day and released, police say.

The victim, a bouncer who worked at the Quail & Firkin on Yonge St., suffered bruises and cuts to his body and was treated in hospital.
