With the recent school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, several Hollywood celebrities and professional athletes took part in an anti-gun Public Service Announcement.

The message is clear: they demand a plan to eliminate gun violence. However, no pragmatic plans, solutions, or ideas on how to go about ending gun violence are offered - only a mere demand.

Ironically, many celebrities who are sanctimoniously demanding a ban on guns and for citizens to unarm hypocritically employ bodyguards who carry firearms.

Numerous actors and actresses in this Public Service Announcement made millions of dollars off their gunplay on the film set. This high-handed message to the public reeks nothing but elite snobbery.
