Valera Lukyanova, 21, attributes her looks to "hard work and good genes."
An Uxbridge man says he's busted as a scam the eye-popping photos of a blonde Ukrainian beauty who claims to have reached a lifelong dream of being a real-life Barbie doll.
Valera Lukyanova, 21, claims to have more than 92,500 "likes" on Facebook since filling her page with hundreds of alluring photos.
They all feature her golden locks, hour-glass waist and doll-like eyes and have been steadily uploaded since last April 21.
Lukyanova has sparked dozens of media stories about how much plastic surgery she's had or how much her photos have been Photoshopped.
"Its all a scam and it is fake," said Tony Oxley, a school board caretaker. "This same woman tried to get money from me a couple weeks ago to move to Canada."
Oxley said Lukyanova's plight appeared in his e-mail earlier this month. She claimed to have found Oxley, her true love, and wanted money to travel to join him.
"I played her along for a little while and she sent me more pictures," he said. "She then wanted $900 to buy airline tickets to come to Canada to be with me."
Oxley sent the Toronto Sun some of the same photos that Lukyanova had plastered on her Facebook. She had sent the same ones to him along with her expressions of eternal love - and requests for money.
"I don't think she is real and I am convinced she is a scam targeting people," he said on Saturday. "People should be careful and not send money to anyone they meet by e-mail."
Oxley said Lukyanova wanted him to send her money by Western Union because it was the quickest way for "the lovers to be together."
He broke off contact with the model, who hopes for a Barbie Malibu Beach House, after she requested funds for a move to Canada.
On Good Morning America Dr. Anthony LaBruna, director of Manhattan Plastic Surgery, estimated Lukyanova spent hundreds of thousands to achieve her look, which may have required her "to cut some ribs out."
Dr. Malcolm Roth, president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, said Lukyanova shouldn't be going under the knife so often at such a young age.
Lukyanova claims to be a new age composer and singer who has written more than 70 songs.
