TORONTO - A Mississauga, Ont., man who went missing last week has been found dead in a Michigan dump.

Kevin Joseph Arendt, 38, was last seen Wednesday leaving a bar in Mississauga around 10:30 p.m.

Employees at the Brent Run landfill in Montrose Township, near Flint, made the gruesome discovery on Friday, MLive.com reported.

Police in Ontario said foul play isn't suspected.

Arendt's body likely arrived in a load of garbage. A spokesman for the landfill told MLive that between 60% and 80% of the refuse received at Brent Run originates in Canada, mostly from the Toronto area.

The Brent Run landfill is located about 140 km away from the Canadian border.
