A Kentucky teenager who tweeted the names of two boys who sexually assaulted her won't face a contempt of court charge.

Savannah Dietrich, 17, exposed her attackers, two boys also aged 17, after they received what she felt was an overly lenient deal in exchange for pleading guilty to assaulting her at a party while she was passed out and later circulating photos online.

The boys' lawyers filed a motion to have her charged with contempt for violating the confidentiality of juvenile court proceedings and the order not to talk about the case. If convicted, Dietrich would have faced a possible fine of $500 and up to 180 days in jail.

"There you go, lock me up," Dietrich tweeted in June about the contempt citation, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. "I'm not protecting anyone that made my life a living Hell."

More than 100,000 people signed a Change.org petition asking the judge to drop the charge against Dietrich, prompting the boys' lawyers to withdraw their motion Monday. Attorney David Mejia told the Courier-Journal there was no longer any point after Dietrich's story - and the boys' names - spread around the world last weekend.
