Delegates are eager to hear Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan reveal their plans to change what the Obama Administration has been doing in the White House.
Meanwhile, President Obama has declared a state of emergency in Louisiana as the safety of the gulf coast is threatened by Tropical Storm Issac, triggering mandatory evacuations and disrupting offshore oil production.
