A rare two-faced kitty cat is turning heads.

Venus has a unique face that's black with a green eye on one half, and orange-tabby with a blue eye on the other.

The kitty has gone viral with more than 800,000 views on YouTube and more than 37,000 likes on Facebook in a matter of days.

The owners, Florida couple Christina and Chris, appeared on the Today show in New York City Wednesday to prove Venus is the real deal.

"We've heard everything from Photoshop to we've dyed half of her face," Christina, who did not want her last name used, told Today. "This is just the way she was born, that's it."

Christina adopted Venus as a feral stray from a friend who works on a dairy farm in North Carolina.

The couple claim Venus is a chimera cat -- born from two populations of genetically distinct cells that originated from different zygotes -- although she has not been tested yet.
