Scandal is swirling in the UK after the French tabloid magazine 'Closer' published photos of a topless Kate Middleton while she was on a private getaway to Southern France with her husband, Prince William.

At least, they thought it was private.

The racy photos of the Duchess of Cambridge has people asking if this was a violation of their privacy or legitimate journalism.

Buckingham Palace is reportedly exploring legal options at this point, while both Kate and William have expressed their extreme disappointment in the situation.

The scandals seem to be piling on for the Royals, as this photo release comes just weeks after Prince Harry - William's brother - was photographed partying naked in a Las Vegas hotel room with friends.

Kate Middleton's cousin also stripped to her skivvies for Playboy recently, making the September issue cover of the magazine.
