Man caught trying to enter Spain illegally disguised as passenger seat: Police

QMI AGENCY

Authorities say a 20-year-old Guinean man tried to get into Spain illegally by disguising himself as a car seat.

Two men from Morocco allegedly removed the foam from the front passenger seat of the car before helping the man get inside its shell, the Telegraph newspaper reports.

Police say one of the accused smugglers drove the car, while the other sat in the passenger seat, on top of the illegal immigrant.

Border guards only realized there was a third man in the car when they began to inspect the passenger seat and touched flesh, not foam.

The Moroccan men are being held in custody and the Guinean man is at a detention centre, the Telegraph reported.

Police said they've seen zany tricks to try to smuggle people into the country before, but nothing quite like this attempt.
