A Philadelphia man has filed a lawsuit that alleges his bladder ruptured when a stripper crashed down on him from a pole at his bachelor party.

The Philadelphia News reports Patrick Gallagher was celebrating his upcoming nuptials at the Penthouse Club in November 2010 when dancers told him to lie down on the stage.

One stripper went up the pole and "from a great height, she launched herself down onto his abdomen," his lawyer, Neil Murray, told the newspaper.

The lawyer said Gallagher was in so much pain, he and his friends went to the hospital where doctors later performed surgery on his bladder.

Murray said Gallagher suffered nerve damage in his back and hip, and is suing the Port Richmond club for negligence in the amount of at least $50,000 for medical costs, pain, humiliation and mental anguish.

The lawsuit was filed last week. None of the allegations have been proven in court.
Club officials couldn't be reached for comment.
