A plot to bomb the Federal Reserve building in New York City has been thwarted.
Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis, 21, of Bangladesh, was arrested after he allegedly plotted to bomb the Federal Reserve with what he thought was a 1,000lb bomb. The suspect was supplied the fake bomb by an undercover FBI agent.
Officials say that there was never as a threat as Mr. Nafis was being closely monitored.
