British newspapers, not known for their restraint, had a field day Tuesday with screaming headlines of Will and Kate's royal pregnancy, and wild claims from a rare condition Kate is dealing with in hospital to speculation she's carrying twins.

"Kate expectations" read the headline on the morning UK Sun the day after the royal couple abruptly announced Duchess Catherine was carrying the third in line to the throne.

When the official announcement indicated Kate was suffering from morning sickness, the Sun found experts to conclude that meant she was having twins.

Royal sources, several papers reporters, said the couple had no intention of making an announcement until Christmas but were forced into the early surprise due to Kate's sickness.

The Mirror ande the Daily Mail both hired forensic artists to create an image of what the child could eventually look like, with "Windsor ears, pointy chin and all."
