Nebraska Gov. approves route for Keystone XL pipeline

Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman has notified President Obama that he has approved a route for the Keystone XL pipeline through the state.

Because the project would cross international borders, it rests with the Secretary of State, John Kerry, who will be the one to pass his recommendations on to the President.
