Joseph Sincavage hangs a Nazi flag outside his Connecticut home not because he despises Jews but because he hates President Barack Obama.

The 73-year-old former U.S. Marine told the Stratford Star he is flying the hated image since he feels his president is transforming the country into a totalitarian state.

“I am going to keep flying (the Nazi flag) until Obama changes his policies, resigns or gets impeached,” Sincavage told the paper. “I am going to stay with it on the basis of my First Amendment rights.”

The Stratford, Conn., native said he “didn’t realize people would take it as offensive,” and he is not a member of any group associated with the flag.

“I have no animosity toward Jewish people,” he told The Star. “They, too, are being given an unfair deal by President Obama. The founder of my religion was a Jew.”

Sincavage claims Obama is interfering with Israel’s ability to defend itself and is making laws without Congressional approval.

The flag hangs alongside the Stars and Stripes, the Marine Corps flag and one that bears the Vatican coat of arms.
